Prof. Mathias ‘Matt’ Mogekwu is a media and communications academic who served as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Journalism Department in the Park School, Ithaca, New York. ‘Matt’, as he is popularly called, taught at Bowie State University, Maryland. Before then he had been faculty member and administrator at universities in South Africa, Swaziland, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
